The characteristics of altruistic behavior that can sustain generalized exchange in a society composed of two groups
It's my main theme.
The theory of generalized exchange explains the evolution of cooperation among unrelated individuals, engaging in one-shot interaction.
This study argues that group plays an important role in the emergence of cooperative society.
Specifically, the result of this study implies that it may be necessary to employ an in-group favoring strategy that utilizes the group membership information of other people in order to maintain general exchange in a society composed of two groups.
